Students from Tsinghua University Visit Cadence Beijing

On October 20, 2016, 12 Masters and Ph.D. students mostly from Institute of Microelectronics, Tsinghua University visited the Cadence Beijing Office. The group was welcomed by Tracy Zhu, Cadence Academic Network Program Manager in Asia Pacific. Then Qingping Wu, Cadence Beijing Site Manager and the Director of CPG delivered an introduction to Cadence and also spoke about Cadence’s R&D presence in Asia Pacific. This was followed by talks from three alumnus from Tsinghua University and now Cadence employees. Longshan Du, Lei Zhang and Kangsheng Luo shared their stories on their career development at Cadence. An HR talk was presented by Recruiter Michelle Zhang before the quiz with prizes to let students well know Cadence culture and job opportunity etc. After a long session of talks, everyone gathered for some fruits and cakes and the students asked many questions about internship and employment opportunities at Cadence. The visit ended with a tour of Cadence Beijing Office.
