Finally, we have filters in the Corners Setup form, Results tab, Outputs tab, Data View and Setup assistants in Virtuoso ® ADE Explorer and Virtuoso ® ADE Assembler . But, they are not just for finding basic strings like vdd or 1p . They can do so much more; filtering for values within a range, finding strings containing all or any of the words you specify, filtering for prefixes or suffixes, and so on. Let's see what advanced filtering these filters are capable of. Filtering Strings In this example, we have a list of outputs and we want to filter for only the ones containing ABC_***_AAA . Simply right-click the filter column and choose the All of the Words search criteria and type ABC AAA . The outputs containing these strings will be matched and displayed in the Output column. Using the same example, if you now choose Any of the Words , it'll find the rows containing ABC or AAA . Making this more complicated, if the list is changed as below, and you want to find anything containing ABC or AAA and ending in ABC or AAA , such as ABC_111_AAA and ABC_222_AAA then select Any of the Words and Suffix and search for ABC AAA . Change the search criteria to Suffix to find outputs that end in a 1 or a 2 . Filtering Values You can filter for values within a range like this: Saving Filters Remember once you've setup your filters in your Corners Setup form, Results tab or Outputs tab, you can save them by giving a name in the Filter name box and then right-clicking and choosing Save .
