“The reason birds can fly and we can't is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.” ― J.M. Barrie, The Little White Bird When a few of us in the Cadence CAS Technical Communications Engineering team chose to travel to a new land of Blogging, we were just as new in that world as hatchlings and just as prepared as fledglings. Unlike birds, our desire to fly to a new land was not driven by survival, we were driven by the desire to explore and outreach. Unlike birds, we did not have the earth’s magnetic field guiding us to find the best route, but like them, what we did possess in abundance was Faith! I am neither an Ornithologist, nor can I call myself a bird lover as I usually don’t spend too much time thinking or studying about birds, but the reason I am comparing our Blogging journey to that of birds is because when I sat down to put together this blog this morning, I tried to recall how I felt when we started, and my thoughts went towards hatchlings and fledglings who know out of faith that they can fly one day, but don’t yet know how. When we started our blogging journey slightly more than a year ago with the launch of our maiden series that we fondly call Virtuoso Video Diary , we knew out of strong faith that our desire to reach out to our customers in a format and medium that is better-suited to address their learning preferences today, will be well received. And, our faith and efforts are well-reflected and represented in terms of the number of people who joined us in our journey, making us a flock, and the number of views we got on each of our blogs. Flapping and gliding as we happen to be together, it didn’t seem difficult to take charge of Virtuosity — an already well-established blog series started by Stacy Whiteman, CPG Product Engineering Director and a much-appreciated Cadence blogger. Since Virtuosity was put in our nest in May this year, it has soared great heights with a large number of experts from various fields writing regularly about the various aspects of Virtuoso. And, now we are a flock of birds blogging together who seem to have covered many miles this year. On a few of our very recent flights, we ventured into the RF Design trail. Who knows what other routes we may take, what other paths we may fly … - Rishu Misri Jaggi
