Rain or snow does not stop our Cadence employees from being the perfect brand ambassadors. Check out the picture below! From early January to late February, Cadence attended 14 career fairs across the country in an attempt to create brand awareness about Cadence and also to gain access to a large number of candidates in a one-stop environment. All the way from Stanford University on the west coast to Binghamton University on the east coast, more than 40 Cadence employees represented Cadence at these career fairs collecting over 800 resumes. Thought leaders from our R&D teams across the country volunteered to represent Cadence at these electrical and computer engineering career fairs. The volunteers talked to the prospective candidates about their experience working for Cadence, how Cadence encourages their employees to innovate and a lot more. We received some great feedback from the volunteers. “Approximately 600 students were there. We had the 2nd or 3rd longest line” - Jayne Matsuda attended Georgia Tech “We had a fantastic turnout from 1pm-5pm – with students queued and showing interest in Cadence all the way up to 5:20 pm. We were on our toes were the last booth to clear up and leave.” - Shekar Chetput attended UCSC I thought the quality was pretty good -- people looking for both full time and internships - lots of master's and a few PhD's. Overall I'd say it was very successful. - Chuck Berghorn attended Purdue University We are very excited to attend the next set of career fairs in fall 2016. Don’t forget to stop by the career page to apply for job opportunities and know more about our university recruiting activities.
